Hi!
I am the new math and science teacher here at MLA! I am very excited to be here and to get to meet all of you. Here's a little about me:
I am originally from the twin cities area. I got my degree at UW-Platteville. I have studied science in multiple regions: I did two grassland internships with the University of Minnesota,I studied Arctic ecology in Churchill, Canada, I worked testing seeds at Seed Savers Exchange for a year, and this past year was working locally at Long Lake Conservation Center as a naturalist, teaching kids about nature and conservation.
Some personal things about me: I live in Aitkin. I enjoy working out and am presently training for the Paulbeck's quarter marathon which I will run on August 6th! I enjoy hiking, photography, and fossil hunting and have over 100 fossils. I have a pet rat and two frogs.
Looking forward to a great year!
